Airports within close proximity are Gibraltar (one and half hours drive), Malaga (two hours), Jerez and Seville (two hours) and Granada (three hours). Hiring a car is recommended, although the village is served by the Granada to Algeciras rail line, the station being a ten minute taxi ride away.
